Materials We Use

  • PLA Filament

PLA is the most popular 3D printing material out there. PLA is a bioplastic and thermoplastic made from natural materials. PLA is non-toxic, with low flexural strength, and low temperature resistance.

  • PETG Filament

PETG stands out from other filaments given its flexibility, strength, temperature, and impact resistance. This makes it ideal for objects like mechanical parts, 3D printer parts, and protective components. Additionally, the material is generally considered food safe.

  • Special Colors PLA Filament

We have available a variety of Silk, Glow, Wood, Sparkle and more to make each print extra special. Check out our Color Guide page to see swatches of available filament.

Our Story

It all started with a small, entry-level 3D printer that I had saved up for, coupled with a dream of turning my passion into something bigger.

The initial spark was a simple desire to create custom, one-of-a-kind gifts for my family and friends. It was the joy on their faces when they received something truly unique that fueled my passion.

Now, as the owner of Plethora3D, our commitment to quality, precision, and personalized service has gained us our loyal customer base. It is incredibly rewarding to witness their dreams materialize through our 3D printing technology.

With each new project, we are reminded of the incredible potential that 3D printing holds, and we look forward to what the future may bring.

The journey from a small 3D printing hobbyist to a business owner has been marked by countless twists and turns, but it's a path I wouldn't trade for anything. It's a reminder that with determination, innovation, and a bit of plastic filament, dreams can truly take shape.
